Arctic Enclosure for BOP Accumulator Units
MEYER manufactures rugged arctic enclosures for BOP accumulator units used in cold weather oilfield, drilling and well control operations. Each enclosure is designed to help protect critical hydraulic components, accumulator bottles, selector valves, regulators and motor packages from harsh environmental conditions.
Built with lightweight diamond plate aluminum and insulated construction, the MEYER BOP accumulator arctic enclosure provides a durable protective housing for equipment that needs to remain accessible, serviceable and reliable in freezing temperatures. The enclosure can be configured with diesel, gas, air or electric motor packages, as well as cold weather options, remote panels, nitrogen backup systems and certification packages.

Arctic Enclosure Standard Features
- 125 Gallon hydraulic reservoir
- 1” four way selector valves mounted to a 2” heavy duty supply manifold
- 1” bypass header (for pressure on the manifold above 1,500 psi)
- 11 gallon accumulator bottles ASME U stamped (APP. 40 gallons) mounted on a 4” heavy duty manifold
- 1” full flow regulator for regulating pressure on the manifold
- Diesel motor consisting of:
- (1) Hatz diesel motor 14.5 HP @ 2000 rpm with glow plug (1) Hypro triplex pump (5.8 gpm) (1) Belt drive with guard Diamond plate insulated house with dual double doors, 5 kw electric heater 110 volt high efficiency work light
